We are helping the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) meet its aggressive sustainability goals by providing start-to-finish energy efficiency project implementation. The goal of this program is to reduce energy consumption electrical demand, greenhouse gas emissions and maintenance costs in city-run facilities including City Hall, office buildings, libraries, homeless shelters, and museums.
For sites with high energy use, we complete energy audits, specify and design solutions, provide construction management, and measurement and verification. Specification and design includes creating bid documents for mechanical and lighting contractors, conducting and scheduling contractor facility walk-throughs, reviewing contractor bids, and aiding selection. Construction management includes providing owner representation and quality control throughout the construction phase. We also provided the energy audit and commissioning in support of City Hall becoming the oldest building in the country to achieve LEED Platinum Status under the Existing Building Operations and Management (EBOM).
